CCIQ and MYP launch new CRM system for small businesses

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland in conjunction with partner MYP has launched a customer relationship management (CRM) system for small businesses.

While large organisations have the financial and staffing resources to manage their CRM system, small businesses often struggle to find the time to devote to one specific system.

However, MYP's system is small business-friendly, enabling the user to send direct marketing campaigns, email updates and create and accept registrations for events.

CCIQ General Manager of Marketing James Flaherty said the system would give businesses a competitive edge over others in their market.

"Efficient client management is a critical part of any business and the way it is done is a lot different today," Mr Flaherty said.

"This system allows a business to capitalise on the technology at hand to have direct contact with their clients, which opens doors to provide company updates, event invitations and an avenue for customer feedback.

"A quality CRM system will go a long way to enhancing your reputation among your clients, while also giving you an effective tool to manage information."
