The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland has announced a new partnership with Queensland-based energy experts Infinity Power Solutions.

CCIQ regional manager South West Queensland Roger Gorrel said Infinity Power Solutions was an industry expert and provided valuable services to small businesses across the state.

“The Infinity Group has developed a reputation for its record of helping businesses transform their energy strategy by providing smart energy solutions,” Mr Gorrel said.

“Energy prices are one of the biggest challenges facing our state’s small business community and many businesses find the most effective way to combat the prices is to re-assess their consumption and operations.

“After five years in business and with more than 7,000 clients across commercial and industrial sectors, it is great to have a group with the expertise of Infinity Power on board.”

Infinity Power combines renewable power with smart energy solutions such as solar PV & hot water as well as energy efficient lighting.

Established in 2007, Infinity is rated as Australia’s best solar company by independent website SolarQuotes and has installed more than 7,000 PV solar power systems totalling over 25 mW in homes in Queensland, New South Wales and the Northern Territory.

Infinity Director Chris Thompson said the group worked on the principle that installing a quality solar system was essential to get the maximum benefit over the systems 25 year life.

“This strategy has led to positive results with about 45 per cent of sales in 2013 coming from commercial systems,” Mr Thomson said.

“It highlights the fact that Infinity Power has established itself in the industry as a quality leader of which CCIQ members can benefit as well.

“Every business struggles with those dreaded fixed costs, but with Infinity’s smart energy solutions they are able to network with companies of all industry sectors to save them valuable cash that can be used to invest and grow their businesses.

“When you combine the ever-increasing price paid for electricity from the grid with the lower cost of installing solar power, there is a compelling driver for all businesses to investigate how they can lower their energy costs.”
